Les Marcaires

Really nice event to start off the season. The route is high quality, wide roads in the eastern Vosges, using the scenic route des cretes now and again. The descents are fast, then its the next climb. Thought I had this one covered, the final climb is gentle gradient, but decent length, and I tired more than expected up to the finish line.
Good event, local support with fine good food to finish in a covered marquee, nice atmosphere.
